How I Decided to go to Boarding School

In 8th grade, I found out my friend was applying to boarding school. I was curious about the idea so I decided to do some research. What I saw on the internet about boarding school made me more interested so I spoke to my parents and got to work on the application process. I wrote essays, answered questions, and went to in person interviews. All of these things, seemed to be putting me out of my confort zone but instead of becoming fearful, I embraced it. Come March, I found out I had been accepted to the Pennington School. I was excited but worried as I realized I wasn't sure I wanted to go. However, I realized life is full of risks and I decided to take one and it was the best decision I ever made. I have learned the importance of independence and preparedness. I have learned to become a more confident person and I recommend boarding school to all!
